Writing Center
The Writing Center, located in the Learning/ Library Resource Center, serves as a supplementary resource for students seeking help on writing assignments. It is designed to create an environment where the student can focus on thinking, reading, writing, and research. The Lab is staffed with a trained specialist who is available to assist students with their assignments. The goal is to assist the student in becoming an effective and independent writer. The Writing Center contains several computers with internet access. Additionally, computers in the Writing Center contain software that provides tutorials to enhance students’ writing skills. The Writing Center is open Monday thru Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
