Goals: To assist students in developing academically, spiritually, culturally, andsocially in order to master the challenges related to academic andstudent life.To provide a meaningful, coherent, integrated, and fulfilling experience toincrease the retention rate of students entering the institution.To make the FYE a central and sustainable part of the institution’s fabric; elicitingbroad-based institutional support. Objectives: Increase student-to-student interactionIncrease faculty-to-student interaction...especially out of classIncrease student involvement and time on campusLink the curriculum (in-class) and the co-curriculum (out of classexperience)Increase academic engagement by communicating high academic expectationsAssist students to attain sufficient academic preparation for college
