Mission of The Library

The Lane College Library/Learning Resource Center (LLRC) was designed to provide a mixture of technological enhancements and traditional services. The first floor contains 8 classrooms, and the Technology Learning Center (TLC). Contemporary, archival, and special collections are located on the second and third floors. The LLRC houses a collection of over 90,000 volumes of print and non-print materials. In addition to vast amount of print materials, the Library provides 10,942 E-Books for faculty members, students and staff members. With this technology, students and faculty can access and read E-books anywhere through the Internet. The LLRC supports academic programs by providing carefully selected books and materials to offer students and faculty with more than adequate facilities for independent study and research.
