	To access Lane College Library’s e-books
	To access Lane College Library’s NetLibrary e-books click on “Library E-Book” on the Lane College Library website. From this page browse the entire collection of e-books in the results list or use the “Basic Search” function in the box on the right to search by title, author, subject, keyword, or within the full-text of the e-books. To access an e-book click the picture of the book or “View this e-book” to open the e-book reader. On the right of this page will be the e-book that can be flipped through using the “Next” and “Previous’ buttons in the upper-right corner. On the left, access specific sections of the e-book by clicking on the section name. To search within the text of the book use “Search this eContent” on the bottom-left corner. To print pages from an e-book click the “print” button at the top of the e-book reader. The currently viewed page or a range of pages can be printed. The number of pages that can be printed is limited to 15 pages from a single title per hour. In order to access the Lane College Library’s e-book collection off-campus as well as save a list of favorite e-books, a Net Library Account must be created. To begin this process click “Create an account” at the top of the net library homepage or search page. Create a username and password and fill out basic information on the form then click “Create account” to finish the process. After creating an account and logging in using your username and password, e-books can be added to a “favorite” folder for easy access. Click “Add to Favorites” next to a title to add it to the favorite folder and click “Favorites and Notes” to access your favorites.
