ENROLLMENT VERIFICATIONInformation Needed to Request a Verification of Enrollment
To provide you with the best service possible when processing your verification of enrollment, we need the following information:
Ordering in person:
Current and former students may order a verification of enrollment in person from their campus Registrarís Office. Typical office hours are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. A form of identification will be required when you order verification.
Include the vital information listed previously. Verification requests are normally processed within two working days of receipt. Processing time after the end of each semester could increase by several business days due to the high volume of requests received. Standard delivery of verifications is by first class U.S. mail.
FULL-TIME STATUS DEFINITION
The normal load for a regular full-time student is fifteen to sixteen (15/16) credit hours per semester. The minimum load for a full-time student is twelve (12) credit hours per semester. Any student who enrolls for fewer than twelve (12) credit hours per semester is classified as a part-time student. Eighteen (18) credit hours per semester is the maximum load for a full-time student, except for some seniors. The Vice President for Academic Affairs may approve extra hours for seniors, providing the following conditions are met: (1) the studentís grade point average for the previous semester was 3.00 or above; and (2) the student could complete all requirements for the degree within a two semester period. Seniors meeting these conditions will be limited to a maximum of 20 hours in one semester, and limited to a total of 38 hours in two semesters. During the summer session, students may enroll in six to nine (6-9) hours of course work. Six hours will be considered as a full load for the summer session. Additional hours must be approved by the Vice President for Academic Affairs. More detail is available in the current College Catalog.
Freshman Course Load
The freshman course load is restricted to a maximum of 16 hours.
If a change or correction is needed in your name, you must complete the name change request form. You must provide two (2) proofs of identification bearing the revised name requested. If the name change is a result of a court order, a certified copy of the court order document is required.
Note: Name change requests must be in writing and will not be accepted via the telephone or fax. Two (2) proofs of identification are required.
