LANE EVENING ACCELERATED PROGRAM

LEAPers ASSOCIATION

Established May 8, 2010, the LEAPers Association is an extension of the LEAP Program and serves to assist and support non-traditional students in adjusting to the challenges of collegiate life at Lane College. Association goals include, but are not limited to:

Serving as ambassadors and advocates for Lane College and its mission;
Developing programs, services, and information to better Lane’s experience for nontraditional students;
Developing an understanding between non-traditional students, Lane’s staff and faculty, and traditional students;
Promoting networking, mentoring, and friendship among non-traditional students;
Ensuring retention and on-time graduation for non-traditional students; and,
Recruiting prospective traditional and non-traditional students.
