The Lane College Chapter of the NAACP, in partnership with the Jackson–Madison County NAACP Branch and Youth Council, invites the community to attend “...And Righteousness Like A Mighty Stream,” a spoken word tribute honoring the life, legacy, and dream of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
When: Monday, January 19th | 8:30 AM - 10 AM
Where: T.R. White Sportsplex (Lower Level Near Lane Field) | 304 North Hayes Street
The program will feature powerful spoken word pieces performed by Lane students and members of the NAACP Chapter. Following the performances, attendees are invited to join the Memorial March to Mt. Zion Baptist Church, located at 201 West Chester Street. Breakfast will be provided to participants.
