Lane invites you to attend the opening of not one but TWO art exhibits on the same night at the Ned, February 9th @ 5-7 PM. The two shows are the 2024 UpstARTs! Annual Regional Student Art Exhibition and the Griot Collective Collaboration with Lane's Art Dept.
The 2024 UpstARTs! show includes students' artwork from Lane, Freed Hardeman, Union, Bethel, UT Martin, and Jackson State. Lane students have 14 pieces in the show! This show is located in the Main Gallery Downstairs at the Ned.
The Griot Collective Collaboration features 15 poems written by well know regional poets and authors and artwork made by Lane students in response to those poems. The Griot show is located upstairs on the main office floor of the Ned.
Opening reception – Friday February 9th @ 5-7 PM.
