Jackson, TN – November 15, 2024 – Lane College is proud to announce its 2024 Outstanding Alumnus of the Year, Jessica Mason, a proud member of the Class of 2006 from Chicago, IL, and the Outstanding Young Alumnus of the Year, Keenan Lowery, a distinguished graduate of the Class of 2018 from Memphis, TN.
Jessica Mason has made significant contributions to her community and field, exemplifying the values instilled during her time at Lane College. As a leader in educational outreach initiatives in Chicago, she has dedicated her career to advocating for equitable access to quality education for underprivileged youth. Her commitment to service and excellence has not only uplifted individuals but has also inspired many to pursue their dreams.
Keenan Lowery, recognized as this year's Outstanding Young Alumnus, has emerged as a promising leader in Memphis. His innovative approach and dedication to community development have led him to create programs that empower young professionals and foster economic growth in the region. Keenan’s work embodies the Lane College spirit of leadership, service, and perseverance.
Both Jessica and Keenan will proudly represent Lane College at the National Alumni/Pre-Alumni Councils Leadership Conference scheduled for February 2025 in Memphis, TN. Their participation reflects Lane College's commitment to fostering leadership and networking among its alumni.
