Nominations are now being accepted for the 2025 Lane College Hall of Distinction. Chosen candidates will be honored at the Hall of Distinction Brunch during Homecoming 2025. Nominations are open until August 29, 2025.
Inductees to the Hall of Distinction will demonstrate success in their career and community. Extraordinary commitment, dedication, leadership, and service to the advancement of Lane College through service and deed are required. Nominees must meet the following criteria:
- Must have attended Lane College (except nominees for the Friend of Lane College or Lifetime Service Awards)
- Must have been recognized on the state, regional, national, or global level
- Is active or has been active in career, church, or community
- Sets a standard of excellence in his/her chosen field
- Demonstrated significant professional accomplishment and exemplified the educational mission of Lane College
YOUNG ALUMNI ACHIEVEMENT AWARD
Recognizing an alumnus under age 40 who has already had an impact on their chosen field.
FRIEND OF LANE COLLEGE AWARD
Recognizing a friend (s) who did not graduate from Lane College but who supports the college by giving their financial support, time, talent, and enthusiasm.
LIFETIME SERVICE AWARD
Recognizing an employee, or former employee, who has contributed significantly to the growth and stability of Lane College. Must have contributed at least 40 years of service at Lane College. (Can be given posthumously.)
LEGACY AWARD
Recognizing alumni for transcendent lifetime accomplishments. The highest honor Lane bestows. (Can be given posthumously)
