Finding the Right Lane Is Easier Than Ever
Finding the perfect career can be confusing and stressful, so we set out to create a better way for you to land your dream career. Lane’s Career Pathways Initiative makes it easier than ever for you to launch the career of your dreams. It’s the perfect lane to reach your destination of an amazing career.
Connect What You Learn with What You Earn
Earning your associate or bachelor’s degree is an important part of beginning a great career. College graduates have access to higher-paying occupations and a greater number of job opportunities. According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, in 2019, those with a bachelor’s degree earned approximately $1,248 per week compared with those with only a high school diploma who earned many hundreds of dollars less each week. Earning your degree is the most important step you can take to increase your earning potential.
However, now more than ever before, earning your associate or bachelor’s degree is not enough. Employers are looking to connect with new college grads who have proven, documented, and career-ready skills. Employers want graduates who can hit the ground running. Lane’s Office of Career Pathways does the work for you. The program clearly identifies the steps you need each year to develop career readiness skills for the perfect transition to a professional career after graduation.
