OUR MISSION
Institutional Research and Assessment supports the College’s goals of promoting academic quality by enhancing learning, teaching, scholarship, and service and by celebrating Lane College’s distinctive strengths by promoting individual student success and responsibility for accomplishments through fostering a student-centered learning culture, and promoting partnerships and public service to enhance educational, social, cultural, and economic well-being.
The office supports the strategic direction of the College to increase student academic attainment and encourage students to engage in life-long learning, develop and implement a comprehensive strategic assessment process that informs the alignment and use of resources and create a campus culture that values partnerships and public service.
To facilitate this process, Institutional Research and Assessment provides data and analysis to support effectiveness, institutional and departmental planning, decision-making, recruitment, and faculty instruction.
