During Lane College's 2023 Opening Convocation on August 16 2023, Chairman of Lane College Board of Trustees, Bishop Marvin Frank Thomas, Sr., presented a significant gift to the College to establish the Women of Valor Endowed Scholarship Fund.
The scholarship is established in an effort to honor women whom made a difference in his life and the communities in which they served. The fund will award Lane College students based on financial need.
