Please join me in congratulating Dr. Deborah J. Rogers on her appointment as Vice President for Academic Affairs for Colgate Rochester Crozer Divinity School located in Rochester, New York. Dr. Rogers will begin her role on July 1, 2020.
Dr. Rogers has served Lane College for eight years as an academic leader and administrator, most recently as Director of Lane Institute, Assistant Professor of Religion and Assistant Chaplain.
"It has been a delight and privilege to work and serve at Lane College." said Dr. Rogers. "In particular, the opportunities to embody Lane's core values of transformation, liberation and celebration have enriched my life. I am so grateful for my colleagues and students."
Dr. Rogers participated in the TICUA Executive Leadership Institute and Princeton Theological Seminary's Black Theology and Leadership Institute. She led our academic and retention initiative and was actively involved in the worship life of the College. Without question, she is passionate about higher education and ministry among students. We celebrate her as a faculty member, administrative leader, and campus servant who has had an impact on the lives of our students.
